Workspaces
Workspaces are the foundation of QiQ Social. Each workspace is an isolated environment that contains its own connections, channels, posts, media, and team members.
Creating a Workspace
Click New Workspace from the workspace selector in the sidebar. Each workspace requires a name and is tied to your user account.
You can create multiple workspaces to manage different brands, clients, or projects separately.
Workspace Isolation
Everything within a workspace is completely isolated:
- Connections — Platform OAuth credentials are workspace-scoped
- Channels — Imported channels belong to a specific workspace
- Posts — Content is tied to the workspace it was created in
- Media — Uploaded assets are workspace-specific
- Labels — Organization tags are per-workspace
Team Members
Invite team members to collaborate on a workspace. Each member has one of four roles:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access — manage connections, channels, members, and workspace settings |
| Editor | Can create and edit posts, and can publish them |
| Contributor | Can create and edit posts, but cannot publish them |
| Member | Can view workspace content |
The workspace owner always has Admin access. Publishing requires Editor or Admin; a Contributor’s posts stay in Drafts until someone with publishing rights sends them out.
To invite a member, go to Settings > Members and enter their email address with the desired role.
Workspace Settings
Access workspace settings from Settings in the sidebar:
- General — Rename your workspace or update its configuration
- Connections — Manage platform OAuth connections
- Channels — Manage imported publishing destinations
- Members — Manage team access and roles
- API — Access details for the REST API
Switching Workspaces
Use the workspace selector at the top of the sidebar to switch between your workspaces. The URL updates to reflect the current workspace context.
