Quick Start
Get up and running with QiQ Social in minutes. This guide walks you through connecting a platform and publishing your first post.
Step 1: Create Your Workspace
After signing up at qiq.social , you’ll be prompted to create your first workspace. Give it a name that represents your brand or project.
Each workspace has its own set of connections, channels, posts, and media — completely isolated from other workspaces.
Step 2: Connect a Platform
Navigate to Channels in the sidebar and click Connect Platform. Choose from the available platforms:
- Social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky) — Connect via OAuth or app credentials
- Messaging platforms (Telegram, Discord) — Connect using bot tokens or webhooks
- Blog platforms (WordPress, Webflow) — Connect via OAuth or site credentials
Once connected, QiQ Social will import your available channels (pages, groups, profiles, blogs) automatically.
Step 3: Create Your First Post
There are two ways to start a post:
- From a channel — Open a channel from the sidebar and click Create Post. The channel is preselected for you.
- From the calendar — Open the Calendar and click a day to start a post scheduled for that date.
In the post editor:
- Channels — Select one or more channels to post to. Selecting several creates one post per channel, each with its own preview.
- Format — For channels that support more than one format (for example an Instagram feed post versus a story), pick the one you want.
- Content — Write your text. The editor shows the platform’s character limit as you type, and blog channels get a rich text editor with title, excerpt, and tag fields.
- Media — Upload images or video from your device, or generate them with AI. Platform media limits are enforced.
- Preview — Switch to Preview to see the post rendered the way each target platform will display it.
Step 4: Use AI Assistance
Anywhere in the editor you can hand work to the AI instead of doing it yourself:
- Text — Generate draft copy, Rephrase what you wrote, or Proofread it. Pick a style (professional, casual, technical, creative, formal) and a length.
- Media — Describe the image or video you want and click Generate. Images can then be edited with AI and given text or image overlays.
- Hashtags — Click Generate Tags to get hashtag suggestions based on your post content, or add tags manually.
You can also do all of this in conversation with the AI Chat Assistant.
Step 5: Publish, Schedule, or Save as a Draft
When the post is ready, choose how it should go out:
- Publish — Sends the post to the platform immediately
- Schedule — Pick a date and time; QiQ Social publishes the post automatically when it comes due
- Save Draft — Keeps the post in your workspace so you can come back to it
If your role doesn’t include publishing rights, the publish and schedule options aren’t offered — your post stays in Drafts for an editor or admin to publish.
Track Your Posts
Open a channel or the All Channels view to see your posts on a board grouped by Draft, Scheduled, and Published. From there you can edit, preview, publish, retry a failed post, or open the published post on the platform.
Once a post is live, QiQ Social syncs engagement metrics — views, likes, comments, and shares — back from the platform and shows them on your dashboard.
